Red king crabs


can be very large, sometimes reaching a width of 11 inches and a leg span of  6 ft

The king crab is native to the Bering Sea, north Pacific Ocean and neighbouring Alaskan waters, It will cost around $ 35 ( 1680 /- ) per crab in native areas , due to its size it is not available all around the world.

 

Truffle ( fungus )


is the fruiting body of an underground mushroom , are highly prized  as they cannot be cultivated.

There are 2 types of Truffles - white and Black 

 

Due to which the french had called it " the diamond of the kitchen "

 

 white Truffle can cost $ 5000 USD ( 2.40 Lakh ) per kilo , approx

 Black Truffle can cost around $ 2200 USD ( 1.56 Lakh ) per kilo , approx

 

 

Dansuke Watermelon


A large black watermelon grown only on the northern island of Hokkaido , Japan.

Because they are so rare, these melons can be extremely expensive.

Approx 65 watermelons are harvested every season , hence the cost per watermelon will be around

$ 6100 ( 2.93 Lakh )

 

 

Yubari Melons

are very expensive Japanese melons. They are used for summer gift giving, and usually come in with a wood box for gift packaging.

The soil the melons are grown in is volcanic ash. It's not what's in the volcanic soil, but how the soil behaves.

It lets growers there easily control the temperature of the soil, and the ash lets water quickly drain through, allowing for the top to remain dry, which promotes the size of the melons.

Almas caviar

comes from Iran making it extremely rare and extremely expensive.

Almas Caviar is white in appearance that can probably be explained by the eggs which come from a 100 year old albino Sturgeon from the Caspian Sea

is the most expensive tea in the world, This tea has oolong leaves, and is highly oxidized.

One of the reasons as to why this tea is so expensive is because of the “ gung fu ” style, which means “ great skill ”.

The tea can be brewed with multiple infusion, for three to four times, so the more you brew the tastier it becomes.

A rare delicacy from the salad days of ancient Egypt is being grown and marketed at Munsley Court Farm.

Hop asparagus may also be the oldest cultivated root vegetable in the world.

La Bonnotte ( Potato )
